One of the most talked about events coming out of NYCC was the Iron Fist panel where fans of the long-awaited show finally got some insight and were treated to a flashy trailer.

And by 'flashy' I mean the scenes flash so quickly on-screen that you'll want to have the pause button ready to really appreciate the work being done. The fight sequences are sure to be 'lit' with more martial arts action than you can shake an escrima stick at.

Finn Jones may not look like a traditional version of Marvel's Danny Rand, with his curly hair and beard, but at least the signature chest marking is still there. Season 1 is set up to be his origin story so don't expect to see a full-fledged costume right away.

While there are several iterations of the Iron Fist costume, because of the tone of these Netflix original series, I wouldn't be surprised if they go with the black and gold motif. They can mute the gold and the black goes perfect with the dark and edgy nature of these shows. You can probably eliminate the possibility of seeing comic books' most famous popped collar as well.

Posting on twitter about his training regimen, Jones talked of 2.5 hours of weight training and 2.5 hours of martial arts training, 5 days a week. So, for those wondering, Finn Jones will be most likely be performing much of his fight sequences!

Also in the trailer we briefly get to see his fist glowing with chi , so it looks as though this will be the first of the 4 Marvel shows on Netflix that features a decent amount of visual effects. This may be part of the reason why filming on the show has already wrapped up, yet we're still around 6 months away from its release.

IRON FIST debuts March 17th, 2017 on Netflix.
