When it was announced that SUPERGIRL was moving to The CW, I predicted a four-part crossover event that brought all the DC shows together. Today, comicbook.com is reporting that the crossover event is in the works.

While I may not have been accurate on the 'four-part' comment, it only makes sense for these shows to each get a chapter in the crossover. Starting with Supergirl on Monday and ending with Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday.

That's almost a whole week dedicated to one continuing storyline! It is my sincerest hope that there is some mention of the JSA (Justice Society of America).

Clearly, when it comes to crossover television events, this will be the most epic in the history of the small screen. We have never seen anything like it.

Now, if I may be so bold, I'd like to make another prediction!

Last August, Nathan Fillion spoke of his desire to play the role of Booster Gold as it was reported by EW:

“I think I could take a pretty good crack at Booster Gold,” Fillion said to fan applause. “That’s kind of my niche — show-offy, vain. I think I could handle that — not too bright.”

Coincidently, in comic book lore, Michael Jon Carter (aka Booster Gold) is Rip Hunter's father. Rip Hunter is the time traveling bandit featured in DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. With the announcement that CASTLE, the show Fillion has been a part of for 8 years, has been cancelled, perhaps he can appear as Booster Gold and be the catalyst for the crossover event.

While it's total speculation on my part, the dots are there to connect. In a world where celebrities often take to social media to make things happen, this could easily be a dream scenario come true with a little effort (feel free to share the hell out of this article if you want to see it happen)!

Are you excited for what this announced crossover could mean?
