From Multiversity Guidebook: World of the Soviet Superman, where Kal-L's rocket crash-landed on a Russian collective farm, resulting in a Communist Superman.  On Earth-30, Batman was a terrorist freedom fighter, Green Lantern, and Bizarro were American super-weapons,  Following the apparent death of Superman, this world prospered under the guidance of the Luthor Family.

Commentary: Red Son was a very good Superman story about what would happen if you drastically changed the origins of the character.  I never quite got Batman with the furry hat, but I still liked Red Son a lot.
