It was announced today that WizKids will be selling 'team packs' which can be paired with any starter set and include 24 cards and 16 dice for $9.99 MSRP.

Dice Masters players have been clamoring for an option that eliminates unnecessary items for veterans of the game. With each set that has been released, players have found themselves with a huge surplus of Sidekicks, Rulebooks and Dice Bags. With 'team packs' those items will be a thing of the past, with one caveat: There will be no Basic Action Cards or their corresponding dice as well.

The cheaper option will enable long-time players of Dice Masters the ability to buy into future sets without the burden of storing away dice and bags they'll never use. While many people have repurposed sidekick dice into necklaces, bracelets and even dice towers, this evolution of the game seemed long overdue.

The Marvel Dice Masters: Doctor Strange Team Pack will launch this September, featuring Doctor Strange, Clea, Wong and the villainous Dormammu!

Additionally, in September, special foil cards will be available in booster packs. Inserted randomly into gravity feeds, the foil packs will be included in the upcoming DC Comics Dice Masters: Green Arrow and The Flash set.
