Now that the Superman: Reborn story is behind us, things begin to settle down at the Kent farm in Hamilton County. Until Batman and Robin show up.

Clark Kent is enjoying his family life as he pauses from his chores to watch Jonathan and Lois go about their day. When a storm begins to brew, Mr. Cobb (a local dairy farmer), asks Lois if she'd send his grandaughter home. He kindly suggests that she get Jonathan inside to take shelter as well. Lois clearly wants to talk about what just occurred but Clark cuts her off and says even though things have changed, they'll figure things out as a family.

Zach forces Kevin to travel down what appears to be an endless maze. Forced to go through room to room only to slip further into madness.

With a lot of hype and excitement for the New York Yankees youth movement and their success in Spring training, (24-9) the first week of regular season baseball is finally here. With cold weather lingering back home, the Yankees take an extended stay in Tampa to face the AL East rival Rays. Evan Longoria feasts off of Yankees pitching but the Yankees youth movement gives some hope that their bats can keep pace.

Let’s see how the series turned out.

DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW has been, overall, a fun show to watch. The characters are a disparate bunch, their origins are slightly (okay, more than slightly) different than what we've seen in the comics, but for the most part it's been enjoyable to watch them band together and travel through the history of the DC universe (or the Arrowverse, specifically). We've seen them travel back to work with Jonah Hex and even the Justice Society of America.

Granted, the rules of time travel for our band of adventurers don't seem all that consistent. For instance, they're told by their founder, Rip Hunter (ARTHUR DARVILL) that they can never go to an event in time where they've already been, to avoid interacting with their other selves. This is something that could break time. This is also something The Flash does about every half-dozen episodes or so, but his actions never seem to cause a time-quake detectable by the Waverider.

Here's the problem I have with comic books that are based on an ongoing television show: you can pretty much rest assured that nothing dramatic is going to happen, because that would shake up the television series -- and no television series is going to let their fans get confused because of an event that happened extra-canonically in a funny book. Which tends to suck all the suspense out of things.

RIVERDALE takes a slightly different approach, telling not just stories that happen in the same universe as the television show, but which happen in-between episodes, acknowledging directly things scenes that we've watched and then expanding on them. Think of it as "the stuff that happened during the commercial breaks."

While we highly doubt that 'Squirrel Girl and the New Warriors' will be the name of the newly announced comedy on Freeform, she appears to be the frontrunner to lead the team.

In their news release they describe Doreen Green (aka Squirrel Girl) as "a totally empowering fan girl—tough, optimistic and a natural leader. Doreen is confident and has the powers of a squirrel… She’s acrobatic, can fight and talk to other squirrels. Her most important trait is that she has faith in people and teaches them to believe in themselves."

With her increased cult following and the good publicity that comes with promoting a female lead, having Squirrel Girl be the face of the franchise makes perfect sense.

Zach continues to feel the struggle as he travels further and further down the rabbit hole only to loop around in circles.

There's a movement happening. It's not explained what it is, what it stands for, or what it's all about, but it's a movement nonetheless, and it attracts the attentions of bored and frustrated young creatives who leave behind their work to join the passing parade.

These creatives include a blonde-wigged Kendall Jenner doing a modeling shoot when she's beckoned to join the throng. She doffs the wig, joins the march, and finds they've thoughtfully provided an ice-bucket full of Pepsi. She takes one and joyously dances to the front of the movement where she steps past the perimeter of the crowd where a line of policemen stand for no apparent reason other than to be a counterpoint to whatever the march was about.

The Legion of Doom got the Spear of Destiny. Eobard Thawne  (MATT LETSCHER), the Reverse-Flash, used it to alter reality to his liking, and then destroyed it, stranding the Legends in a world irrevocably changed.

Their only hope lies in time travel, so that the Legends of Tomorrow can team up with... the Legends of Tomorrow?

It's been a quiet nine months for the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS). Their adventures chronicled on the last season of Destination America's MOUNTAIN MONSTERS found the AIMS team facing brutal competition in the woods from another team that always seemed to be a step ahead of them, ruining their traps and possibly having even killed the Stonish Giant. The season concluded with a rebus and a message from this so-called "Rogue Team" of Bigfoot hunters.

Since that time, Team Leader Trapper ( click here for our exclusive interview with Trapper has elected to wait them out until they make a mistake. But the team's youngest member, Buck, is tired of waiting, and has taken matters into his own hands.

David J. Pedersen's ANGST saga continues to be a breathtaking adventure. The titular hero, Angst, is in his forties and living the life he dreamed of when he was younger -- being that of a hero saving his family, his friends, his country, and quite possibly all the world. Unfortunately, it comes at a cost far beyond creaking bones and physical exhaustion.

Angst is a magic weilder -- even a powerful one. But his magic became that much stronger when he bonded with Chrysleanor, a foci in the form of a sword as tall and as wide as a very tall and very wide man. This made Angst an Al'eyrn, a sort of super magic user of legend. Then Angst did the impossible and bonded with a second foci, Dulgirgraut, a sword of similar proportions but entirely different power. This made Angst something hitherto unseen in history, something that shouldn't exist.

MONSTER TRUCKS isn't a movie that was really meant to do well on the big screen, much as the hopes of Director CHRIS WEDGE (ICE AGE) might have been otherwise. It has good special effects, and a fairly decent budget, but it's the storyline that holds it back from being a box office success. But that doesn't mean the story is a bad one, it means it simply is what it is -- and about 30 years too late. The film would have done exceedingly well in the 1980s, as it has all the tropes of some of the best not-too-scary monster flicks of that bygone era. Think GREMLINS and E.T.

From author-illustrator Marie Letourneau comes an adorable new picture book, ARGYLE FOX. 

Argyle Fox just wants to play outside. However, the gusty wind has other ideas. Despite his mother's warnings, Argyle Fox tries to build a card tower outside - but the wind quickly whooshes and blows the tower over. Determined to find a game to play on this windy day, Argyle Fox sets out to try different activities - but can he find something to do that the weather won't ruin?

Cute and whimsical full-page illustrations show Argyle Fox's adventures in enticing colors. This is a great story about using critical thinking to solve problems rather than giving up. While Argyle Fox's "answer" might be obvious to adult readers, children will love watching him think through his conundrum and try different activities. I loved the illustrations!

This is a quick read I think kids will really enjoy.

ARCHER Season 7 takes our dysfunctional “family” of spies into a new direction with this 2-disc DVD set from FX and 20^th Century Fox.

After failing as government agents-turned-drug-dealers and being blacklisted by the CIA, the team tries their hand at being private investigators. The only one able to get his Private Investigator’s license is Cyril Figgis (voiced by CHRIS PARNELL), so they all reluctantly (except for Cyril) now work for the “Figgis Detective Agency) and set up shop in Los Angeles.

Based on August Wilson's renowned play, FENCES is a stunning, heart-wrenching portrait of a family and a story about feeling trapped in your life.

There’s an old bit of writing advice that I’ve always liked: your character doesn’t need to be likable to hold the audience’s attention – they need to be compelling. FENCES is a prime example of this.

THE ILLUSIONISTS: LIVE FROM BROADWAY is a tricky show to review, no pun intended. How can I discuss magic tricks, illusions, mentalism, and death-defying stunts when I don’t know how 99% of them are done and magic is generally a visual event that words alone cannot reproduce? THE ILLUSIONISTS is a show featuring seven of the top magicians and daredevils in the world. It’s an event that must be seen to be believed, and you only have until the last two shows on Sunday, April 2, 2017 to catch them at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis before they disappear, presumably in a puff of theatrical smoke.

The seven masters of their art are:

When participating in the fandom of cosplay -- particularly when you're participating in it from the vantage of a spectator -- it's easy to get caught up in the intricate props, the ostentatious costuming, the unreal weaponry and accoutrements.

But cosplay can include far more subtle aspects. Not every worthwhile character out there requires all the baggage that serves as their calling card; not every anime girl is defined by her accessories and not every superhero boy is defined by the size of his sword.

As subtle as a spring rain comes our April Bombshell, Momma Kawaii, a cosplayer who can do as much with just her eyes as many do with a whole garage full of flexible foam and reams of fabric. Whether portraying Yui from DIABOLIK LOVERS (left) or Noodle from GORILLAZ (below), Momma Kawaii is the definition of "less is more."

As always Kevin always adds on more pressure for Zach as he struggles to survive in the unforgiving galaxy.
