Archie's Holiday Coloring Book

There have been lots of comic book based coloring books to come out, and honestly they are a whole lot more fun than some of the other coloring books that have been published and marketed toward adults. Who wouldn't want to take a crack at coloring some of our favorite comic panels? Because these have basically been the actual comics, sans color -- not the coloring books of yore that were thick black lines with no details, created solely and originally as coloring material.

The nice thing about ARCHIE'S HOLIDAY COLORING BOOK is that there are so many years to pull from--decades, even, from covers to pin-ups. The word balloons have been left intact for the jokes, and many of them are some classic Dan DeCarlo Betty and Veronica images.

The paper is also a high-quality stock. It's heavy gauge, and perforated so they can easily be removed from the book without ripping edges -- perfect for framing the final results, or for keeping the original pages as master sheets if your a school teacher or home-schooler.

Archie is one of the few comics companies to have numerous Christmas images to work with from their covers, having had so many titles published simultaneously at one time, including ARCHIE, BETTY & VERONICA, LAUGH, PEP and many more. This means that not only is this a thick book, it also has great variety. And coloring is an excellent developmental and fun activity for kids and adults alike, particularly on those days when the snow has closed both business and school.

So crack open a big box of crayons or colored pencils, markers or water-colors, or even scan them and try your hand at some digital hues. No matter your approach, you'll have a fun time with these Christmas images of Archie and the gang!
