Geoff Johns is a tease.

A big part of marketing is to get people talking about your brand. When Heroic Hollywood posted a "5 Best Superman Moments" list, Johns took to twitter with a response:

Get ready to revise your list. https://t.co/lnOMdXYJ58

It's no secret that Superman will be making a return in JUSTICE LEAGUE, but we have no idea how much he'll be involved in the film. Based on Johns' tweet, we expect that Superman's first appearance will be fan service on an epic scale.

His 'rebirth' is sure to have fans jumping out of their seats.

Zack Snyder has said that his presence will be felt throughout the movie. Much like in SUICIDE SQUAD, where Superman's death was part of the narrative, just because he's not on-screen doesn't mean his importance is diminished.

He is the first hero to officially come forward in the DCEU.

Many people didn't like the dark nature of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. And the same critics were concerned that 2013's MAN OF STEEL didn't provide hope and optimism that's synonymous with Superman.

Recently, film reporter and founder of Heroic Hollywood, Umberto Gonzalez, says that he spoke with Geoff Johns regarding the future of the DCEU:

A month ago I met @geoffjohns at the DC Museum post WW screening, & we discussed the DCEU going forward with an open optimism as a compass. pic.twitter.com/FTUqG6TWZA

With Geoff Johns helping with the script, WONDER WOMAN has changed the narrative. People are loving the new tone for the DCEU that Patty Jenkins has helped deliver. They've proven that you can still tell a good story, while having a little fun. WONDER WOMAN was so enjoyable, it's hard to imagine Warner Bros. going back to the old template.

As rumors continue to swirl about a sequel to MAN OF STEEL, the success of a differently toned WONDER WOMAN makes it easy to see how an optimistic approach could do wonders for Superman's image.
